FATE — Privacy Policy

FATE is a browser-based card game. We try to collect as little as possible.

What FATE stores

FATE stores the following on your device using your browser's localStorage:

• Your chosen player name and character selection
• Your settings (sound on/off, music on/off, difficulty, deck mode, etc.)
• Your game history (last 500 games, with turn count, opponent names, win/loss, date) for the Stats screen

None of this data ever leaves your device. There is no FATE server.

What FATE does NOT collect

• No personal information beyond the display name you choose to enter
• No tracking cookies
• No account, signup, or login
• No payment information

Third-party services

The game loads two third-party resources:

• Google Fonts — for the typeface. Google may log your IP address when fonts are downloaded. See Google's privacy policy.
• Netlify — our hosting provider may log standard request metadata (IP, browser, time). See Netlify's privacy policy.

Children

FATE is rated 10+ and contains no gambling, no real-world stakes, no chat, and no user-generated content. It is safe for children to play.

Your rights

You can clear your stored data anytime via Settings → Reset Stats or by clearing your browser's site data for fatecardgame.com.
